A boy died as he was run over by a bus while he was crossing Bogra-Dhaka highway in Noymail area of Shajahanpur upazila in Bogra yesterday, said police.
The deceased, Monir Hossain, 5, was son of vegetable trader Thandu Mia of Shoilokuri village in the upazila.
Our Mymensingh correspondent adds, a man was killed when a bus hit him on Mymensingh-Tangail road in Banarpar area of Muktagachha upazila on Sunday night.
Shafiqul Islam, 35, of Horinatola village in Muktagachha died on the spot.
Police seized the bus but its driver managed to flee.
