Ataur Rahman Rana, a freedom fighter, died due to cardiac arrest at Pabna General Hospital on Wednesday night. He was 65.
He was the founder of Landless Development Organisation (LDO), a right-based NGO for the landless people.
He left behind his wife and three sons and was buried in his family graveyard in Kubirdiar of Chatmohar upazila in Pabna yesterday.
