Sanjay Leela Bhansali assaulted on the sets of “Padmavati”

The film fraternity is appalled by the recent attacks on the set of Sanjay Leela Bhansali's new film, “Padmavati”, by activists of a Rajput organization. On Friday, the Karni Sena activists entered the Jaigarh Fort, Jaipur and assaulted Bhansali, according to the police. According to these extremists, the reason why they had to take such drastic measure was because Bhansali was apparently twisting history by making the film about the medieval-era Delhi ruler Alauddin Khilji, who fell in love with Rajput queen Padmavati. Bhansali has packed up and has said that he will never shoot in Jaipur again.
